Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure a smooth patient experience.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
– Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
– Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
– Take dental x-rays
– Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
– Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
– Experience in dental assisting
– Knowledge of dental receptionist duties
– Familiarity with ABEL software
– Experience in orthodontics and implants
– Must have NDAEB Certification
