Description
We are currently seeking a qualified Level II Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team in Dundas. Our practice is fully digital, incorporating digital charting, radiographs, and impressions, and is focused on delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.
The successful candidate will support a variety of dental procedures and contribute to a smooth and organized patient experience. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during dental examinations and procedures
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols, including sterilization of instruments
- Capture and process digital radiographs and intra-oral scans
- Maintain accurate and complete digital patient records
- Assist with patient education related to oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Help manage patient flow and appointment coordination
- Support inventory control and operatory readiness
- Assist with administrative tasks when required
- Contribute to team development and knowledge-sharing
Qualifications
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant (Ontario)
- Ideally minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- HARP certified and current CPR certification
- Proficiency in digital dentistry tools (scanning, charting, digital radiography)
- Effective communication and time-management skills
- Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or CAD/CAM is an asset
- Committed to providing a positive and respectful patient experience
- Able to work collaboratively in a busy clinical setting
