Description
Six Nations Health Services, is looking for an independently contracted registered dentist – in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario – to take over a patient load of a retiring dentist. The Six Nations Health Services Dental Clinic is a busy treatment center with a history of providing exceptional care to the Six Nations community. Services provided to the community include the practice of general dentistry including: diagnostic services, preventative services, restorative services, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics and endodontics. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong working knowledge and understanding of complex disease issues within an Indigenous community, specifically within the Six Nations of the Grand River territory. The dentist works on a fee for service model.
Qualifications
- Registered, licensed and in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
- Strong communication skills and friendly bedside manners.
- Valid liability insurance.
- Valid CPR and BLS certification.
- Current Minimal Sedation (Nitrous Oxide) Authorization.
- Experience working within an Indigenous community is an asset.
