Job Overview

We are seeking a caring, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, educating patients, and building lasting relationships that support long-term oral health. Key Responsibilities
-Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including assessments, scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
-Perform periodontal evaluations and document findings accurately.
-Take digital radiographs according to practice protocols.
-Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment plans.
-Maintain strict infection control and sterilization procedures (IPAC compliance).
-Collaborate closely with dentists and the clinical team to support optimal patient outcomes.
-Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts using Practice Management Software.
-Ensure operatory cleanliness, organization, and readiness for each patient.
-Contribute to a positive and supportive patient experience at every visit.
Qualifications
-Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
-Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
-Current CPR/BLS certification (required).
-Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive care.
-Experience with digital radiography and hygiene-specific tools.
-Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, Tracker, Abeldent, Paradigm, Cleardent, or similar (asset).
-Excellent communication and patient education skills.
-Strong attention to detail, clinical accuracy, and infection-control compliance.
-Positive, compassionate, and team-oriented approach.

Compensation
Pay Range: $47.00–$53.00 per hour
