Dentists have a track record of being there for Ontarians when it matters most.
We’ve always followed strict infection prevention and control measures and since the start of the pandemic, we’ve taken additional steps to further protect the health and safety of our patients.
These extra steps worked. There have been no known cases of COVID-19 infection linked to treatment in a dental office in Ontario since the first provincial lockdown in March 2020.
Throughout the toughest period of health care service in recent history, Ontarians were able to get the dental care they need – and they were protected the entire time.
Dentists across the province were there for Ontarians in other ways too. They gave their time, expertise and resources to help fill the gaps in a time of great need. Because we know that dental care is critical to overall health and well-being.
We understand that many Ontarians aren’t quite ready to go back to their pre-pandemic care routines. But regular dental checkups are important for catching problems before they become painful and expensive to treat. Now’s the time to make sure your smile is healthy and ready for the world to see again.
