Western University Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residents Present: Infection, Trauma and Surgical Complications for Generalists
Odontogenic infections, dentoalveolar trauma, and complications of oral surgery are a part of the generalist’s practice. This lecture focuses on equipping the audience with the tools to obtain a pertinent history, complete a relevant physical exam, and triage the issues that their patients are presenting with. Current evidence based medical and surgical management of infections, trauma, and complications of dentoalveolar surgery will be provided.
