Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, preventive services, restorative treatments, and patient education. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and oral health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat dental diseases, injuries, and oral health conditions.
- Develop and present treatment plans to patients.
- Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
- Carry out preventive treatments, including cleanings, fluoride applications, and sealants (where applicable).
- Perform endodontic procedures (root canals) and simple extractions, depending on qualifications and practice scope.
- Administer local anesthesia and pain management treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, specialists, and office staff.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current dental license in the applicable jurisdiction.
