Description
Why this role matters
You are the first person patients meet and often the first voice they hear; you set the tone for their entire experience with us. We’re looking for someone with exceptional people skills who genuinely cares about making others feel welcomed, heard, and valued. What matters most to us is your ability to connect with people, stay calm under pressure, and bring warmth to every interaction.
Who we are
Toothgallery is a relationship-driven practice where we understand that relationships matter, with our patients and with each other. We prioritize diagnostic depth over quick fixes, long-term care over transactions, and education and empowerment over pressure. We believe in collaborative care and doing things right, not fast.
We’re a small, tight-knit team that genuinely cares for each other and our patients. Our team communicates openly, respects each other’s input, and collaborates on decisions.
What we’re looking for
We care deeply about our patients’ well-being and want them to have the best experience possible. When a patient walks through our door, they become our focus – not just another appointment on the schedule. We don’t rush. We listen. We take the time to answer questions, address concerns, and make sure they feel genuinely cared for. That’s the Toothgallery experience, and it starts with you.
The qualities that matter most to us:
You have exceptional people skills. You naturally connect with people, read the room, and adapt your communication style. You’re genuinely warm; patients should feel welcomed, not processed. You stay calm under pressure, whether that’s a ringing phone, a patient at the desk, a question from the back, or all three at once. You pay attention to the details because small things matter. You take initiative and care about getting things right. Most importantly, you align with our values. You believe in honesty, patient education, and treating people the way you’d want to be treated.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Greeting patients and managing the front desk experience. Answering phones with care and professionalism. Scheduling appointments strategically. Coordinating insurance and predeterminations. Handling payment collection. Maintaining a welcoming, organized environment. Being the communication bridge between patients and our clinical team.
Experience & training
Entry-level candidates are absolutely welcome. Dental experience is welcome but not required. Success in the first 90 days looks like comfort and ease in speaking with patients, booking appointments, and answering phones. We’ll support you every step of the way.
